Dean Hamiti has solidified himself as a bonafide contender at 165 pounds after the dominant season he has had and proving himself worthy in a 8-5 loss to Alex Marinelli. Creighton Edsell is back in at 165 pounds for Penn State after Brady Berge dropped to 157 pounds. Despite not competing in a lot of Big Ten competition this season, Edsell slides in at the #5 based on his body of work outside of the Big Ten this year. Things got rather difficult between the 6-10 spots at this weight class. Cael Carlson has a win over Bubba Wilson but losses to Dan Braunagel and Hayden Lohrey. Wilson has wins over Cameron Amine, and Lohrey, but losses to Braunagel and Carlson. Caleb Fish has a win over Lohrey. And finally, Lohrey has wins over Braunagel and Carlson, but losses to Wilson and Fish. This could be seeded a lot of different ways at the Big Ten Tournament.
