Nick Lee came out on top once again against Jaydin Eierman in an NCAA final rematch to tie their all-time rivalry at 2-2. An interesting note to keep in mind entering the postseason: In their three meetings over the last year, Lee leads the takedown advantage 7-2 in matches that have all been decided by two points or fewer.
Sebastian Rivera has been on fire all season long as he is currently 22-0 on the year with 19 bonus-point victories and two forfeits. Whoever is able to come out on top of this weight class will likely receive the #1 seed at the NCAA tournament with the current top three ranked guys in the country coming out of the Big Ten. Chad Red and Jakob Bergeland both picked up victories over Stevan Micic over the last few weeks to drop Micic down to #6. All-American Dylan Duncan made his return for his final season in late January and took losses to both Joseph Zargo and Chad Red to put himself at the #8 spot.
