2024 Olympic Wrestling Rankings

74 kg - Kyle Dake

Kyle Dake is the #1 ranked wrestler at 74 kg after winning a silver medal at last year's world championships where he defeated Daichi Takatani and Georgios Kougioumtsidis but lost to Zaurbek Sidakov. Sidakov will not be in the Olympic bracket after he was ruled ineligible to compete by the IOC.

Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov comes in at #2 after being ruled eligible after he initially was banned from competition. Kadimagomedov notably defeated Dake at the Tokyo Olympics but failed to place at last year's world championships when he was defeated by Georgios Kougioumtsidis. Despite that loss, Kadimagomedov recently defeated Tajmuraz Salkazanov at the European Qualifier. That win, and his win over Dake, are enough to keep him at the #2 despite his loss at worlds last year
