NCAA Media Center -- The NCAA added women's wrestling as its 91st championship sport, providing another athletics opportunity for female athletes to compete. Divisions I, II and III approved the addition at the Association's annual Convention this week in Nashville, Tennessee.
Below is a partial — but not complete — commitment list of current high school wrestlers and colleges they plan to attend along with an approximate college weight. There are thousands of high school wrestlers and over 150 women's college wrestling programs (NAIA, NJCAA, and NCAA D1, D2, and D3), so this is an ongoing list.
