149 pounds in the Big 12 was very straightforward. Kaden Gfeller holds wins over the #2-5 ranked guys, and is undefeated in Big 12 competition to earn the #1 ranking. After taking over the 149-pound job for Oklahoma, Willie McDougald took advantage of his opportunity and earned the #2 ranking with wins over Jarrett Degen, Josh Edmond, and Colin Realbuto. Degen beat Edmond head-to-head, and Edmond has the head-to-head win over Realbuto to make for a very simple weight class ranking-wise.
