Dual meet season continues to roll along as we look back at another week of results and catalog all the upsets based on rankings that we could find. All the usual caveats apply. Results that technically qualify as upsets this week may not look like upsets at the end of the season or even a week from now.

As we get deeper into the 2024-25 NCAA D1 wrestling season, upsets become more consequential for ranking, seeding, and NCAA Championship qualifications purposes.

The 2024 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational is set to go down on December 6-7 and will be the best in-season tournament of the year. Pre-seeds are set to come out later today (December 3rd) and will give us a better idea of what brackets will look like and who will be entered. Another big week of upsets as the 2024-25 continues. Here are all the upsets we could find through week 3, with all the caveats applying and with the understanding that results that look like upsets today may not be considered upsets by the end of the season.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are traveling out west to Coravllis, Oregon to take on the Oregon State Beavers Saturday evening in what is set up to be the dual of opening weekend! Wrestling will start at 10 pm Eastern/9 pm Central/7 pm local Pacific time. You can watch live on Flo!

The U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials brackets will be both massive (mostly the U23 ones) and stacked with some of the most talented and credentialed college wrestlers in the country.

The Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, formerly the Dapper Dan, has a long-standing tradition of showcasing high school wrestling excellence. Every year, they pit the toughest Pennsylvania high school seniors against the highest-ranked national competitors they can find. This year's PA All-Star team includes 8 nationally ranked wrestlers, half of whom are ranked in the top ten in the country. Team USA? All 12 are ranked inside the top 7 in the country with three #1s and four #2s.

This year's Walsh Jesuit Ironman is absolutely loaded. Nearly 100 registered wrestlers are ranked in the top 20 in the country, and over half of those are ranked in the top 10. We'll see 7 #1s and 11 weights with possible top-five matchups. Below is a list of the pre-seeds along with everyone else who's registered at each weight. National rankings are included where applicable.
