Rankings Influencers: Key Upsets From NCAA's Week 12

As we get deeper into the 2024-25 NCAA D1 wrestling season, upsets become more consequential for ranking, seeding, and NCAA Championship qualifications purposes.

But not all upsets are created equally. We've listed all the upsets we could find from week 12 below, however, all the usual caveats apply. Results that technically qualify as upsets this week may not look like upsets at the end of the season or even a week from now.

There are also wrestlers that are unranked probably because they are not the starter for reasons including they are redshirting or they were injured for a while and were taken out of the rankings or for something else. We separated all the 'upsets' of that nature but still included them at the bottom of the list.

Below are all the week 12 upsets ordered by the difference in the rankings, from greatest to smallest.
