It’s not often you get to see the number-one ranking in the nation decided at a state tournament, but that’s exactly what we could see this weekend in Altoona, PA at the PIAA AA Team State Championships. #1 Faith Christian Academy and #2 Bishop McCort will both have to win two duals before they see one another this weekend, with the winner in the final ultimately putting themselves in the driver’s seat to become the unofficial high school national team champions.

The 2025 PIAA Pennsylvania Team Wrestling State Championships are Feb. 7-8, in Altoona, Pa. While many great teams will be fighting their way to the championship matches, two powerhouse teams will highlight the tournament.

The 2024 U17 World Championships is live on FloWrestling from August 19-25. The men’s freestyle competition is August 23-25 at the Princess Sumaya Bint al-Hasan in Amman, Jordan.

USA Wrestling will determine its U17 World Team this weekend at the US Open in Las Vegas. As expected, this year's tournament has enticed some of the top young wrestling talents in the country to compete.

With the NCAA season officially getting underway this week, many are looking forward to the early season collegiate open tournaments for a first look at their favorite college wrestlers. However, over the last several years we have also seen some of the nation’s top high school wrestlers throw their hat in the ring to see where they stack up against college competition. This weekend, we will see many high schoolers in action at both the Clarion and Southeast Open tournaments.
