Since an 83-73 loss at UNLV on Jan. 9, New Mexico basketball has been one of the nation's hottest teams with five straight wins. Two came against top 20-ranked opponents, and after an 89-55 deconstruction of Nevada on Jan. 28, three were against contenders for NCAA Tournament bids.
