2024-25 National High School Girls Wrestling Team Rankings
2024-25 National High School Girls Wrestling Team Rankings
The committee that selects the National Girls High School Rankings, which includes representation from USA Wrestling, FloWrestling and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum, has published its February 2025 National Girls High School Team Rankings.
This ranking includes public and private schools at the high school level from all states, including states with official girls state championship events as well as those with unofficial girls state championships.
For the January 2025 rankings, the committee has once again selected the top 50 high school teams in the nation and has expanded the number of honorable mention teams from 40 to 50 programs.
Remaining as the #1 ranked team is the nation is Wyoming Seminary (Pa.), the 2024 Prep School national champions. Individual athletes from Wyoming Seminary have competed well in college opens and high school events.
There has been some movement among the top 10 teams. Moving up to #2 is Broken Arrow (Okla.), which won the Wonder Women in Missouri and the Alpha Female in Colorado. #3 is Cleveland (Tenn.), which won the Tennessee state dual championships last weekend. Bixby (Okla.) is at #4, second in the Wonder Women and winner of the Sand Springs Tournament in Oklahoma. At #5 is Olentangy Orange (Ohio), winner of the Pioneer Classic in Ohio and winner of its regional in the Ohio state dual championship series. The top five teams in the rankings are the same, but in a different order.
Rounding out the top 10 teams are #6 Conroe Woodlands College Park (Texas), #7 Allen (Texas), #8 Raccoon River-Northwest (Iowa), #9 Garden City (Kansas) and #10 Corona (California). Except for Conroe Woodlands College Park, the other four teams have reached the Top 10 for the first time this year.
Since the last ranking, Indiana has held its girls state championships, and its team champion Columbus East (Ind.) debuts at #18.
The #6-ranked team in the January rankings, Edmond North (Okla.), has been suspended for the rest of the season by the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association. Edmond North has appealed the decision. Edmond North is not included in this ranking, but if its appeal leads to its reinstatement, the program will be considered for the final national ranking in March.
There are 41 states represented in the February 2025 national ranking. California has the most ranked teams with eight. Texas is next with six ranked teams. States with five ranked teams include Tennessee, Iowa and Washington. States with four ranked teams include Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Missouri and Florida.
The committee will meet and issue the final rankings for 2024-25 in mid-March, after all of the girls high school state championship tournaments have been held. The final ranking will include the top 50 ranked teams as well as 50 honorable mention teams.
In order to grow this program, we need more input from coaches, parents, administrators, journalists and fans to have the strongest and most accurate rankings possible. If you believe your team should be ranked, please provide information to the committee right away.
If there is a team that should be considered for a national ranking and is not currently ranked, send us the following information:

The long-term goal of the committee and others involved is to strengthen the existing multi-state competitions and develop more large multi-state competitions during the season, where nationally ranked teams and other strong programs can come together to challenge each other. This will also help to better promote the best teams and best athletes in the nation.
The next National Girls High School individual rankings will be published next week.
