Another big week of upsets as the 2024-25 continues. Here are all the upsets we could find through week 3, with all the caveats applying and with the understanding that results that look like upsets today may not be considered upsets by the end of the season.

One of the most underrated tournaments of the year kicks off this weekend as the U23 Men's Freestyle Nationals is set to begin Saturday, June 1 at 9:30 AM and conclude Sunday, June 2 with a best two of three series that will begin at 10:00 AM (all times eastern).

The U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials brackets will be both massive (mostly the U23 ones) and stacked with some of the most talented and credentialed college wrestlers in the country.

Below is a partial list of NCAA D1 heavyweight wrestlers (184, 197, 285) who are returning and will contest for a varsity spot after an interval of at least one year.

Iowa dominated the first day of the inaugural Soldier Salute by sending 13 wrestlers to the semifinals. Three-time NCAA champion Spencer Lee won his first two matches by fall and technical fall and will face U20 World Champion Jore Volk in the semifinals.
