The first weekend of 2024 college baseball in Arlington, Texas and Globe Life Field is in the books as Baylor, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee helped celebrate the start of the season with nine mostly thrilling games over three days.
In the highest-scoring game of the weekend, that could have seen even more than the 18 runs that were scored, Texas Tech Baseball bounced back from its Friday night loss to Tennessee to end the weekend with back-to-back wins over Nebraska and Oregon.
Before Feb. 18, Nebraska and Oklahoma Baseball had played 250 times but not since 2011. The matchup between the two schools was once one of college athletics' best.
