Session 2

Erica Pastoriza won a World gold medal at last year's U17 championships, and she's on pace again. She won three straight bouts to punch her ticket to the World finals for the second straight year.

Both Arvin Khosravy and Cody Merrill wrestled in Greco bronze medal matches. Khosravy fell in a tight 5-3 contest, but Merrill got it done 3-1.

Shelby Moore (57kg), Sydney Perry (65kg), and Kaiulani Garcia (73kg) have all been pulled into repechage.

Session 1

Returning World Erica Pastoriza looked like she was ready to repeat at 43 kilograms after snagging two wins at the U17 World Championships in Rome. Pastoriza used a four-point ankle pick in the second period of her first match to snag a 7-4 win. She used four takedowns and a tilt in the quarterfinals to secure her spot in the semifinals.

Arvin Khosravy (71 kg) has a shot at Greco bronze after winning his repechage match, 3-1.

Shelby Moore (57 kg) dominated her first match and had a thrilling 11-8 win in the Round of 16. She scored a takedown and four turns in the second to race ahead 10-6 after falling behind in the first. She fought off her back with seconds remaining but came away with the victory. Moore lost her quarterfinal match, 10-0, and will wait to see if she is pulled back into the tournament.

Returning World bronze medalist Audrey Jimenez (49 kg) was down 3-0 after the first and eventually fell, 9-2, in her opening match.

Sydney Perry (65 kg) was defeated in the quarterfinals, 3-0, but can still get pulled back into the tournament.

Kaiulani Garcia (73 kg) fell behind 3-0 at the end of the first but lost 3-1 in her first match. She is still alive to get pulled into repechage.
