Nate Jesuroga won the first meeting at Cadet WTT, but this time it'll be up in weight and in folkstyle. Can Marc-Anthony McGowan reverse the result?
Cadet World bronze medalist Nathanael Jesuroga and Cadet World champion Marc-Anthony McGowan will run it back at Who’s #1. The two first met at the 2021 Cadet World Team Trials where McGowan got the first takedown before Jesuroga stormed back to win 6-2. This time it’s at 120 lbs and in folkstyle.
After Jesuroga defeated McGowan at this year’s Cadet World Team Trials, he went on to defeat Aden Valencia two matches to none in the finals to make the Cadet World Team. At the World Championships just two weeks ago, Jesuroga proved himself on the international stage by winning a bronze medal.

An Iowa native, Jesuroga competes for power programs Southeast Polk High School and Sebolt Wrestling Academy. He won a state title at 113 lbs this year in Iowa's big class. He is currently #6 on the 2023 Big Board.
Also top-10 on the 2023 Big Board, McGowan is a New Jersey native who competes for Blair Academy. In addition to being a 2019 Cadet World champion, McGowan is an Ironman, National Prep, and Journeymen champion.

With the first matchup occurring at 51 kg, this match will occur at about seven pounds heavier at 120 lbs.
