Many of the best wrestlers in the world will gather in Ulan-Ude, a city in East Siberia, to partake in the 2021 Russian National Championships. While not the end-all-be-all deciding factor, this will be very important in determining Russia's 2021 Olympic and World Teams. All of the top wrestlers besides Abdulrashid Sadulaev and Sharif Sharifov are required to wrestle.

With almost all of Russia's heavy hitters wrestling that means we could see matches between World #1 Zaur Uguev and #2 Azamat Tuskaev, #1 Gadzhimurad Rashidov and #3 Nachyin Kuular/#4 Akhmed Chakaev, and maybe most important #1 Razambek Zhamalov vs #3 Zaurbek Sidakov at 74 kg.
