CAA Women's Basketball Tournament 2025: What To Know
CAA Women's Basketball Tournament 2025: What To Know
The 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Women’s Basketball Tournament tips off on March 12 in Washington, D.C. Here's what to know about the tournament.

The Coastal Athletic Association is long past the days of Old Dominion dominance in the 1990s and 2000s, a time when the team had gone on a historic 17 year back-to-back championship run from 1992-2008.
Since Old Dominion's move to Conference USA in the 2014 season, six teams have won the CAA Tournament. Though the powerhouse of the CAA flips regularly, nine of the current 14 teams in the CAA have never once won the tournament.

But in 2025, there's a good chance that a new team is added to the list of championship teams, with all three of the teams at the top of the CAA having never won the championship title.
No. 1 North Carolina A&T, No. 2 Charleston and No. 3 Campbell have a total of seven conference tournament championships between themselves, all from different conferences than the CAA.
Yet the teams have seemingly set up a challenge for the rest of the conference in the postseason that could dethrone the 2024 CAA champions, No. 4 Drexel.
With the CAA's three top teams looking to secure a historic first championship win, here's what to know about the 2025 CAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
