The college basketball postseason has arrived, and over the coming weeks, conferences from coast to coast will be crowning champions and waiting to see how many of their teams advance to the prestigious national tournaments.

The Northeast-10 Conference is among the first to begin sorting things out, and the 2025 NE10 Men’s Basketball Championship already has been whittled down to four semifinalists, including the tournament’s top three seeds.

The two semifinals will take place Wednesday, and the champion will be crowned Saturday at the home of the highest remaining seed.

The first NE10 semifinal will see No. 3 Bentley (18-9) visit No. 2 Southern New Hampshire (19-8) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The other game will feature top-seeded Adelphi (26-6) hosting No. 5 seed Pace (23-6) at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The two winners then will meet in Saturday’s championship game.

About The Northeast-10 Conference

The NE10 Conference plays basketball at the NCAA Division II level. The conference includes 11 teams.

The Adelphi Panthers won the regular-season title this year, which was their first since the 2011-2012 season. Adelphi was ranked No. 18 in the Feb. 24 edition of the NABC Coaches Division II Men's Basketball Rankings.

In the 2024 NE10 Men’s Basketball Championship, Southern New Hampshire defeated Southern Connecticut for the title, 75-60. It was the third championship for SNHU (2013, 2016).

With the win, came the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship. Two additional NE10 teams earned bids to the national tournament in 2024 – Southern Connecticut and Saint Michael’s.
