The 2025 Lone Star Conference Women's Basketball Tournament starts on March 6. Here's what to know.

The 43rd Lone Star Conference Women's Basketball Tournament is set to take place March 6-9, 2025, at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.
Eight teams are vying for the title, with No. 1-ranked Texas Woman's University (TWU) entering as the No. 1 seed. The Pioneers, co-champions of the regular season, have a remarkable 22-game winning streak.

Lubbock Christian earned the No. 2 seed, while UT Tyler and Eastern New Mexico secured the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, respectively.
The tournament begins with four quarterfinal matchups on March 6, and the winners will move on to the semifinals on March 8. The championship game will take place on March 9.
The tournament winner will secure an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship.

The selection show for the men is 10:30 p.m. ET on March 9. It is streaming at NCAA.com.
When Does the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament Start?
The tournament begins on March 14 with the first round regional games. The quarterfinals are March 24, the Final Four begins on March 26 and the National Championship, streaming on ESPN+, is March 28.
Who Won The NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament In 2024
Minnesota State won the championship last year, beating Texas Woman’s. Minnesota State also won the men’s tournament.
