The Men's California Collegiate Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament & Women's CCAA Basketball Tournament is just around the corner, tipping off at The Sports Center in San Marcos, Calif., on March 6.

The top six men's and women's teams from the CCAA will face off and fight to earn a bid to the 2025 NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

No. 6 Cal State LA returns to the CCAA Men's Tournament this year, after taking down then-No. 1 Cal State San Bernardino in the 2024 CCAA Finals 73-62. San Bernardino will also be appearing in the tournament in 2025, now ranked No. 3 in the CCAA.

No. 1 Cal State Dominguez Hills has dominated this season in the women's division, accomplishing a 29-1 overall record. Cal State Dominguez Hills has seen a massive shift in success in 2025, coming off a 14-14 season in 2024 that left it out of CCAA Tournament play.

When Does the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament Start?

The tournament begins on March 15 with the first round regional games. The quarterfinals are March 25, the Final Four begins on March 27 and the National Championship, streaming on CBS, is March 29. 

When Does the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament Start?

The tournament begins on March 14 with the first round regional games. The quarterfinals are March 24, the Final Four begins on March 26 and the National Championship is March 28 on ESPN+.
