The California Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's & Women's Basketball Tournament returns on March 6 to The Sports Center in San Marcos, Calif.

Six men's and six women's teams will go head to head with hopes of claiming a spot in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The reigning champions of the 2024 CCAA Men's Tournament, No. 6 Cal State LA, are in the hunt again at this year's tournament. The then-ranked No. 3 team defeated then-ranked No. 1 Cal State San Bernardino 73-62 in the 2024 championship. San Bernardino now sits No. 3 in the CCAA.

Cal State Dominguez Hills currently sits atop the women's bracket, securing a dominant 29-1 record this season. Dominguez Hills had struggled to make the 2024 CCAA Tournament after going 14-14 overall, and will look to make a statement at this year's tournament.

The selection show for women is 10:30 p.m. ET on March 9. It is streaming at NCAA.com. 

When Does the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament Start?

The tournament begins on March 15 with the first round regional games. The quarterfinals are March 25, the Final Four begins on March 27 and the National Championship, streaming on CBS, is March 29. 

When Does the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament Start?

The tournament begins on March 14 with the first round regional games. The quarterfinals are March 24, the Final Four begins on March 26 and the National Championship is March 28 on ESPN+.
