The Men’s Division 1 level will play its national tournament from March 13-18 at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo. You will be able to watch every game live and on demand on FloHockey.
The ACHA released its final rankings Tuesday, which determines the final seeding for the tournament. The top eight seeds automatically advance to the second round, while the remaining 16 teams will play an opening round to advance. The winning teams from the second round move on to the quarterfinals, which is followed by a re-seeded semifinal and the national champion will be crowned on March 18.
Adrian College is the defending national champions after outlasting UNLV last year and will enter this tournament as the No. 6 seed. Meanwhile, 2023 national champion Minot State finds itself in the familiar No. 1 spot for the 2025 tournament. Last year's runner-up, UNLV enters at No. 2 after an eventful season that saw them go play NCAA Division I defending national champion Denver and earn a shocking win in the shootout.
Minot State will be seeking its fourth ACHA national title, which would tie them for second all-time and one short of record-holder Penn State. Meanwhile, No. 3 Ohio University will be chasing down a potential record-tying fifth ACHA national title, matching their old rivals Penn State.
Here are the 24 teams that will be competing for the Murdoch Cup in a few weeks.
