Nebraska Softball is ready to send star pitcher Jodryn Bahl out to win a championship.

After missing an entire season in 2024 due to an ACL injury on opening day, Bahl is back and better than ever.

With Bahl at the reigns, the Cornhuskers have recorded an 8-2 record ahead of the 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, looking to give the pitcher a path to the WCWS.

Howard Softball comes off a 32-13 overall season, where it went 16-5 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play. The Bison's season ended in an extra-innings battle against the then-No. 3 team in the MEAC, Coppin State, 4-6.

Howard Softball will look to capitalize on its successful season in 2024, shifting to face the powerhouse No. 15-ranked Nebraska softball team at the 2025 Mary Nutter Classic.

The teams are set to face off at 11 p.m. ET on Feb. 22. Here's how you can watch the game live.

Who Was Mary Nutter?

Mary Nutter was an All-American softball player and a pioneer in the sport. 

She was a coach at Pittsburgh State and was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1988 and the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1997.

Nutter died in 2012.
