No. 22 TCU Baseball Rallies To Take Over Michigan In A 10-4 Win
TCU baseball and Michigan battled in the second game of the 2025 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series. Read the recap to see what gave TCU the edge.
TCU baseball comes out on top against Michigan as part of the 2025 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series, 10-4.
In the top of the first inning, the Horned Frogs scored the game's first run. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for them.
The Horned Frogs surrendered the lead in the latter half of the inning with a two-run home run from Mitch Voit, and in the very next inning, Jonathan Kim went for an RBI single.

Michigan held the lead until the sixth when defensive mistakes assisted the Horned Frogs in scoring four runs. They added one more run in the next inning to take the lead at 6-3.
After Michigan added a run to cut the lead to two runs, Issac Cadena and Nolan Traeger ensured that TCU would have more than enough insurance runs to finish off the game with two-run home run shots a piece in the final inning.

Multiple Two-Run Home Runs Extend The Lead For The Horned Frogs - Top 9th

Where Is The College Baseball Showdown?
The Shriners Children's College Showdown, followed by the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, pitting some of the NCAA’s best teams against each other.
The 2025 season will mark the fifth year in a row that the showdown has been held in Arlington.
