Northwestern Softball (5-5) will take on Seattle University (5-5) at 9 p.m. ET on Feb. 21 at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, California.

The Wildcats started the season ranked but have since dropped out of the top 25 following an up-and-down start. However, they have shown flashes of their potential, highlighted by a 4-1 victory over No. 14 Duke. Northwestern will look to build on that performance and find consistency as they continue their non-conference schedule.

Seattle, also sitting at 5-5, has proven to be a tough competitor and will aim to capitalize on any opportunities against Northwestern. The Redhawks have been competitive in early-season matchups and are eager to secure a notable win.
