The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have seen decades worth of rough seasons, with their last NCAA Tournament appearance back in 1994.

Rutgers Softball has struggled to make positive seasons a regular occurrence, but has had some better luck recently.

A 32-25 overall record in 2023, followed up with a 33-22 overall season in 2024, has given the Scarlet Knights new hope.

If Rutgers Softball wants to keep the momentum going, the 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic will serve as an early challenge for the team. The Scarlet Knights will hit the fields of Cathedral City, Calif., on Thursday, Feb. 20.

When Is The 2025 Mary Nutter Softball Tournament?

The 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic will take place Feb. 20-23. Games begin Thursday, with the final games played on Sunday. 

Where Is The 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic?  

The Mary Nutter Classic returns to the Big League Dreams Complex in Cathedral City, California. Teams will play across the complex's five fields.
