NCAA Baseball Rankings: Arkansas Baseball, TCU Prep For Top 25 Showdown
Here are the latest College Baseball Rankings on Feb. 17, 2025 after the first weekend of the season. Texas A&M Baseball remains No. 1.
Week 2 of the College Baseball Showdown, or the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota, will include three teams who find themselves in NCAA Baseball rankings after the Opening Weekend.
Arkansas is No. 5 in the country at D1 Baseball and TCU is No. 22 in the rankings. But at Baseball America, Arkansas (3-0) is No. 4 in the country while TCU (3-0) and Michigan (3-0) are Nos. 24 and 25 entering the week.
Kansas State (1-2) is the fourth team in the field and hopes to bounce back after starting the season 0-2.

At the top of the rankings is Texas A&M (3-0) after opening the season with three games against Elon of the CAA. The Aggies will play McNeese and Cal Poly this week.
But once again the eyes of college baseball will be fixated on Arlington, Texas starting on Feb. 21.
Michigan scored the biggest upset win of Week 1 when it beat then No. 2 Virginia 5-4 in 11 innings on Opening Day. The Wolverines followed that with a 5-2 win over Rice and a 19-0 win over Villanova. They face Stetson on Feb. 17 before heading to Texas for slate of TCU, Kansas State and a March 23 showdown with Arkansas.

The Razorbacks swept Washington State over the weekend and play the Cougars for a fourth time on Feb. 17. WSU played Arkansas close on Opening Day, losing 3-2, but the Razorbacks won 14-2 and 5-2 in the next two games. They face Kansas State first, followed by TCU this weekend.
TCU is ranked after receiving some devastating news that pitcher Ben Adeldt, a star reliever and unanimous preseason All-Big 12 pick, would miss the season with an elbow injury. The Horned Frogs went on to sweep San Diego and will play them a fourth time on Feb. 17. Their slate starts with Michigan, then a Saturday night showdown with Arkansas and they’ll wrap the weekend with a non-conference Big 12 showdown against Kansas State.

Where Is The College Baseball Showdown?
The Shriners Children's College Showdown, followed by the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, pitting some of the NCAA’s best teams against each other.
The 2025 season will mark the fifth year in a row that the showdown has been held in Arlington.
When Is The College Baseball Showdown?
The first week of the showdown, the Shriners Children's College Showdown, will begin on Friday, Feb. 14, and will run through Feb. 16. The following two weeks of action, the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series, will run from Feb. 21 to March 2. During the time of these two events, a number of weekday games will also be played. Those matches will take place between Feb. 18 to March 5.
All three weeks of action will be streamed live on FloCollege and FloBaseball.

All three weeks of baseball played in the Shriners Children's College Showdown and Amegy Bank College Baseball Series will be streamed live on FloCollege and the FloSports app. Replays and match highlights will also be on both platforms.
