The second day of the 2025 Shriners Children’s College Showdown was highlighted by two D1Baseball Preseason Top 25 teams, No. 15 Clemson and No. 21 Arizona, facing off.

The Shriners Children’s College Showdown is held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, home of the world champion Texas Rangers, as part of three massive weekends of college baseball.

The schedule includes the Shriners Children’s College Showdown (Feb. 14-16), Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota Weekend 2 (Feb. 21-23) and Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota Weekend 3 (Feb. 28-March 2).

Clemson came out swinging, securing a 7-0 lead in the top of the first inning alone. Both teams would go scoreless until the Wildcats put themselves on the board with a single run in the fifth.

A late rally by Arizona led to an 8-5 game going into the ninth inning, where it looked like it could be anyone's game.

Of course Clemson cleared any doubts that any of its fans had, scoring eight more runs in the top of the ninth inning, securing a win over the Wildcats, 16-5.

Check out the full recap of the game below.
