The 2025 SDHSAA South Dakota High School Wrestling State Dual Championships begin on Feb. 14 in Pierre, S.D. Both Class A and Class B teams will battle it out this weekend to claim the South Dakota state title.

At the 2024 SDHSAA State Dual Championships, Class A Sturgis Brown High School defeated Watertown High School 55-13.

Sturgis Brown High was dominant throughout the competition, defeating its opponents in the semifinals and quarterfinals 40-15 and 57-13 respectively.

Watertown, while still making it to the finals match, advanced from the semifinals with a nine-point win over Pierre TF Riggs, coming into the finals as the underdog.

In the Class B finals, Canton High School defeated Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall 45-16. Both teams had fairly similar routes to the finals as the Class A finalists, with Canton recording a pair of 40-plus point wins in the semifinals and quarterfinals.

• 11:00 am - Quarterfinals, Semifinals to follow 15 minutes after quarterfinals
• 2:00 pm - Championship, 3rd Place, & 5th Place matches

Saturday, Feb. 15 | Class A

• 11:00 am - Quarterfinals, Semifinals to follow 15 minutes after quarterfinals
• 2:00 pm - Championship, 3rd Place, & 5th Place matches
