Harvard men’s lacrosse kicks off their 2025 season in Providence on Saturday, Feb. 15, in what promises to be a top 20 match-up against the Providence Friars.

Harvard enters the season ranked No. 17 in, with several key players to watch, including attacker Sam King, named to the USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American second team. The Crimson are aiming for a strong start under head coach Gerry Byrne, whose squad looks poised to make noise in the Ivy League.

No. 20 Providence, coming off two impressive victories to start their season, will host the Crimson at Chapey Field, looking to continue their momentum. With their own standout players such as attacker Ryan Bell, a third-team Preseason All-American, the Friars will be a formidable opponent in this early-season clash.
