This week, we will have three undefeated teams instead of four after Illinois Wesleyan took its first loss and dropped to the No. 4 spot in the NCAA Division III women's rankings now that NYU, Scranton and Bowdoin have won their games.

The Titans lost on the road against Carthage by six points, and they gave up a 33-point fourth quarter.

UW-Oshkosh, Whitman, Smith and Gustavus Adolphus remain in their spots with multiple wins and only one loss still on their records.

Can The Remaining Teams Stay Unbeaten?

  • It is no surprise that defending champion NYU women's basketball is the unanimous No. 1 team, so there is a great chance they will finish the regular season as the top team and will not take a loss.
  • Scranton also has a good chance of having an undefeated regular season in the landmark conference. They beat Wilkes last week, 86-26, and then No. 21 Catholic, now No. 16 Catholic, by double digits.
  • Bowdoin played its last two home games against Middlebury and Williams, getting commanding wins. They will look to be the first team to finish the season unbeaten when they play Wesleyan and Trinity on a back-to-back this weekend, Feb. 14-15.
