How To Watch Tennessee Vs. UCLA At 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic

Tennessee and UCLA are two of the premier collegiate softball programs in the country, and they’re going to square off at the 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.

In the recently released ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25, Tennessee landed at No. 5, and UCLA was close behind at No. 6.

Their top-10 meeting at the Mary Nutter will take place Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.

The 2025 edition of the Mary Nutter is taking place at the Big League Dreams Complex in Cathedral City, California, from Feb. 20-23.

Tennessee is one of 11 Southeastern Conference teams to enter the new season ranked in the top 25.

The Vols are coming off a 44-12 season in 2024 that ended against Alabama in the final of the Knoxville Super Regional (2-1), with a trip to the NCAA Women’s College World Series on the line.

UT started the new year at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida, where a season-opening loss to No. 16 Nebraska was followed by consecutive wins over Bethune-Cookman, Iowa, Notre Dame, Northwestern and Pittsburgh.

In the wins, the Vols outscored their opponents 50-7.

Tennessee last participated in the Mary Nutter in 2024, going 4-2.

UCLA was able to make the WCWS, defeating Georgia 2-0 in the final of the Los Angeles Super Regional. In Oklahoma City, the Bruins defeated Alabama and then bowed out with losses to eventual national champion Oklahoma and Stanford.

The new season has started perfectly for UCLA with a pair of wins at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament in Los Angeles and three victories at the Mark Campbell Invitational in Irvine, California.

At the Mary Nutter in 2024, UCLA was 4-1, including two wins over ranked opponents.

The 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic will feature 31 teams, headlined by Tennessee, Nebraska and Utah.

About Big League Dreams Cathedral City

The Big League Dreams Sports Parks are scattered throughout the United States and provide recreational and tournament players of all ages the chance to compete on world-class fields, often built as replicas of famous stadiums from the storied history of Major League Baseball.

Along with the nostalgic fields, the Big League Dreams venues include a restaurant and bar, batting cages, play area for children, stadium seating and space for other sports (hockey, soccer, sand volleyball), events and competitions.

Big League Dreams Cathedral City was the first of the eight BLD properties to open, doing so in 1998. The park includes five fields. Among them, Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and New York’s Yankee Stadium.
