How To Watch Duke Vs. Nebraska At 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic
How To Watch Duke Vs. Nebraska At 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic
Duke and Nebraska will meet at 4 p.m. Eastern on Day 2 of the 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, California. Here’s how to watch.

Now that the Duke softball team has been to the NCAA Women’s College World Series, anything less than another trip might feel like a letdown for the Blue Devils.
Nebraska has been there, too, making seven official appearances (an eighth was vacated), but the Cornhuskers haven’t made the trip to Oklahoma City since 2013.
As they both take aim at becoming the best in the nation this year, they’ll have a head-to-head matchup at the 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. They’ll take the field together Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. Eastern.
The 2025 edition of the Mary Nutter is taking place at the Big League Dreams Complex in Cathedral City, California, from Feb. 20-23.

The Blue Devils are coming off a program-best 52-9 season that ended as one of eight teams that qualified for the 2024 NCAA WCWS.
The run in Oklahoma City included a loss to eventual national champion Oklahoma and a season-ending loss to Alabama.
Duke entered the 2025 season ranked No. 8 on the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 and as the far-and-away favorite to win the Atlantic Coast Conference, earning 11 of the 15 first-place votes to land at the top of the 2025 ACC Softball Preseason Poll, the first such honor for the Blue Devils, who burst onto the softball scene in 2018.
The Blue Devils started the year at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida, winning three games and losing two.
Their appearance at the 2025 Mary Nutter will be their second, with the first coming in 2019 and resulting in a 1-4 record.
Nebraska, ranked 16th in the ESPN.com/USA Softball preseason poll, also started the new season at the NFCA Leadoff Classic and went 3-2. The Huskers won their first three games and finished the event with losses to No. 10 Texas Tech and No. 24 Mississippi State.
Last year, Nebraska was 30-23 overall after entering the year very excited about pitcher Jordy Bahl, who transferred in from Oklahoma for the 2024 season. Unfortunately, she suffered a season-ending ACL injury in her first game with the Huskers.
Bahl is back in action and ready to lead Nebraska in 2025. She already made an impact, as she was the winning pitcher in her team’s season-opening win over No. 5 Tennessee.
Nebraska did compete in the Mary Nutter last year, going 2-3.
The 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic will feature 31 teams, headlined by Tennessee, Nebraska and Utah.

Along with the nostalgic fields, the Big League Dreams venues include a restaurant and bar, batting cages, play area for children, stadium seating and space for other sports (hockey, soccer, sand volleyball), events and competitions.
Big League Dreams Cathedral City was the first of the eight BLD properties to open, doing so in 1998. The park includes five fields. Among them, Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and New York’s Yankee Stadium.
