In an unforgettable match at Twickenham, England triumphed over France 26-25 in a nail-biting finish to Round 2 of the 2025 Six Nations.

The match, marked by intense physicality and a low-scoring first half, saw England respond resolutely to France each time Les Bleus scored.

Fin Smith, making his first start at Twickenham, rose to the occasion and delivered the match-winning kick in the dying seconds.

Smith was named man of the match, but proper plaudits are in order for Fin Baxter, as well as Elliot Daly for scoring the final try.

Smith's composure under pressure was instrumental in England's dramatic victory, securing the win after a back-and-forth contest.

From early mistakes to late-game heroics, this clash will go down as one of the great Six Nations moments.

Recap the game below as it happened.

England Vs. France Rugby Prediction

FloRugby expert Philip Bendon explains his prediction for England vs. France.

While France enters as clear favorite, "Le Crunch" has a history of unpredictability.

England’s selection gambles could either unlock a new attacking dimension or expose them to France’s relentless physicality. Meanwhile, France’s reshuffled backline offers England a rare defensive opportunity.

Ultimately, the battle at the breakdown, the aerial duel and the effectiveness of England’s defensive adjustments will determine whether they can spring an upset or if France will continue its dominant form.

For us, France will have too much explosive power for England and likely will get on top at set-piece time. France by 12.

England Vs. France Rugby Kickoff Time

The match kicks off at 11:45 a.m. ET on Feb. 8 at Twickenham in England.
