NCAA Division I Men's College Basketball Rankings: Two New Teams At The Top
Auburn and Duke take care of business for another week to stay at the top of the division; here are the notes from the latest rankings.

No. 1 Auburn men's basketball and No. 2 Duke MBB both remain on their streaks of being the best two teams, and the Tigers are still unanimously voted as the overall best team, although the Blue Devils own a win over them earlier in the season.
After being comfortable in the No. 3 spot, Iowa State men's basketball ran into trouble, losing a big conference game over Kansas State.
Purdue and Texas A&M make it into the top ten despite having five losses on the season.
Lower Ranked Teams Pull Off The "Upset"
- Tennessee men's basketball recovered from the last-second loss to Auburn this past weekend, defeating the Florida Gators on their home floor by 20 points to make a statement.
- Texas Tech MBB won a game-of-the-year contender on the road over Houston, which was ranked No. 6 coming into the matchup.
- After there could have been questions about UConn men's basketball staying in the rankings after gathering its sixth loss on the season, they silenced all doubt after beating Marquette on the road by eight points.
John Calipari Wins His Homecoming Against Kentucky
- After 15 seasons with the Kentucky Wildcats, John Calipari would return to Rupp Arena for the first time as a visitor.
- Although it was close through Arkansas, Calipari's new team came away with a tough win on the road, giving Kentucky its sixth loss of the season.
- The loss would drop the Wildcats two spots, finishing at No. 14 in this week's rankings.
Duke Is The Only Ranked ACC Team
- In a season where the SEC has been the conference with multiple teams in the rankings, that is not exactly the case in the ACC.
- Currently, Duke is the only team in the ACC ranked in the top 25, and they are No. 2 behind Auburn.
- On Feb. 1, a rivalry was renewed when Duke took on North Carolina. The Blue Devils controlled the game straight up, ultimately winning by 17.
- At this point in the season, Duke seems to be the only chance the ACC may have of having a championship contender in the NCAA tournament, but as great as Duke is, they may love their chances.
