Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Kevin Korchinski Wins The AHL All-Star MVP
Kevin Korchinski wins MVP of the 2025 AHL All-Star Challenge for the Central Division. Find out how he did it.
The Central Division won the 2025 AHL All-Star Challenge championship after defeating Atlantic in a shootout in the title game.
This win snapped the back-to-back winning streak for the Pacific Division, who the Central Division would beat to advance to the finals 5-2.

Rockford Icehogs defender Kevin Korchinski was a key contributor for the North all night but showed up bigger in the championship game, scoring a goal and three assists during regulation.
Korchinski was drafted in 2022 by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round, 7th overall. This was his first appearance at the AHL All-Star Classic.
However, his biggest goal came during the shootout, which was critical to helping the Division win. After the defender took his time, he lured goalie Michael DiDietro to sleep before capitalizing on scoring the first shootout goal to go ahead.
