Across multiple preseason college baseball rankings, Oregon State baseball team team was ranked in the top 10 teams in the country after going 45-16 and finishing second in the Pac-12 Conference last season.

What Conference Is Oregon State Baseball In? It's A Trick Question

The Oregon State University Beavers are a member institution of the PAC-12 conference, but began a two-year term as an affiliate of the West Coast Conference before the 2025-2026 school year.

In September 2024, it was announced that Boise State, San Diego State, Colorado State, Utah State, and Fresno State would leave the Mountain West Conference to join Oregon State and Washington State in the Pac-12 Conference for the 2026-2027 school year.

Gonzaga announced shortly after that they would also join these schools in the rebuilt Pac-12 Conference.
