Miroshnichenko Hat Trick Helps Hershey Bears Past Bridgeport Islanders

On the last night of January, before the AHL All-Star weekend, a thriller concluded in Hershey, Pa., as the Bridgeport Islanders played a close-knit game with the Hershey Bears.
The final score was 5-4, with the Bears taking home the win over the Islanders.

A big reason for the win was left-winger Ivan Miroshnichenko, who collected the hat trick. All-star Alex Limoges scored the go-ahead goal just a minute after Bridgeport's Matthew Maggio scored the tying goal early in the third.
During the contest, Islanders' defenseman Grant Hutton collected 17 minutes of instigating and fighting penalties. Although the Bears didn't score on the power play, going 0-for-7, it still gave them the momentum needed for the win.
