Ireland Rugby overcame a first-half deficit to secure a 27-22 win over England at Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

England led 10-5 at halftime, with a try from Cadan Murley and a late Marcus Smith penalty.

Ireland’s comeback was sparked by a Bundee Aki’s try that tied the game, and James Lowe’s strong performance throughout the match.

The Irish went ahead for good with Dan Sheehan’s try, aided by Lowe’s passing.

England had strong contributions from Marcus Smith and the Curry twins. Jack Crowley’s impact after replacing Sam Prendergast at the No. 10 also steadied the team, while the Aviva Stadium crowd played a big role in keeping the Irish in the game.

With this win, Ireland moves forward, setting up a crucial showdown with France.

Recap the action below as it happened.

End Of Game: Ireland Wins

Ireland 27, England 22

Ireland was able to come back against a surprisingly competitive English squad.

It was in the second half where Ireland finally woke up, with tries from Bundee Aki and Dan Sheehan putting the Irish ahead for good. But James Lowe's perseverance and strength shone through the entirety of the match.

Marcus Smith and the Curry twins played very well for England. They'll be unhappy they lost this game after having it in hand at halftime.

Aviva Stadium, as per usual, was a huge factor. Keeping the Irish team in the fight when they weren't playing quite up to standard.

Prendergast Or Crowley?

Sam Prendergast got the nod at No. 10 over Jack Crowley, which has created some divided opinions among Irish fans.

Prendergast, who is often viewed as the next great Irish fly-half, plays for Leinster, while Crowley plays for Munster. Which could explain some of the disagreement.

Either way, the Irish have two strong starters at the position.
