The Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters have not seen an NCAA Tournament since 2019, when the team lost to Texas Tech in Regionals, after going 45-16 overall. But the Techsters haven't let that get in their way, sitting over .500 in every season since then, save for 2021. 

Louisiana Tech Softball has seen good consistency like that for a while now, but has struggled to make NCAA Tournament, only having three appearances since the turn of the century.

With another season in sight, the Lady Techsters will begin their battle for a Regionals berth anew, starting off strong with the 2025 Puerto Vallarta College Challenge.

The 2025 Puerto Vallarta College Challenge hits the fields on Feb. 6-15 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with LA Tech Softball beginning play on Thursday, Feb. 6.

The Lady Techsters missed the 2024 Puerto Vallarta Challenge, rather playing at the Warhawk Invitational. The four game series was a dominant showing of the Techsters skill. They won all four games, including an absurd record breaking 28-2 win against Lindenwood that lasted just five innings.
