Texas A&M baseball takes the top spot in nearly every college baseball preseason poll ahead of the 2025 season. 

The Aggies are indisputably, despite losing to Tennessee in the 2024 CWS, the No. 1 team in the land.

After that consensus falls by the wayside as LSU, Virginia and Arkansas vie for the second spot, depending on who you ask. 

Those teams, along with Tennessee and sometimes Georgia, occupy most of the top five of each preseason poll. 

Of the teams ranked below in various polls, Oklahoma State, TCU, Arkansas, Texas, Oregon State, and more will appear during one of the three College Baseball Showdown weekends.
