Texas softball tops another preseason Top 25 poll, taking the No. 1 spot in the first ESPN.com/USA Softball poll of the 2025 campaign.

Oklahoma, who were cemented at No. 1 the last few preseason polls, takes the second spot or third spot in most polls. While Florida, Oklahoma State, UCLA and Tennessee round out the top five in most polls. 

Most of the Top 25 will appear at either Puerto Vallarta College Challenge or Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in the next few weeks, both broadcast on FloSoftball and FloCollege. 

Some notable matchups at Puerto Vallarta include two Florida State vs. Oklahoma State games. 

Notable matchups at Mary Nutter include Duke vs. UCLA, Nebraska vs. UCLA, Tennessee vs. UCLA, and Oregon vs. Missouri. But there are many more.
