The Northwestern Wildcats have had 18 NCAA Tournament appearances since 2000, with consecutive appearances since 2021. Northwestern Softball comes off a Big Ten Conference Tournament championship win in the 2023 season, and a dominant 2024 season that ended in a loss in the NCAA Regional round to then-No. 1 Texas.

In their hunt to capitalize on their success and claim a fifth NCAA Tournament birth in a row, Northwestern Softball will face four teams early in their season in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.

The 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic hits the fields on Feb. 20-23 in Cathedral City, Calif., with Northwestern Softball's first match on Friday, Feb. 21.

The Northwestern Wildcats had a tough time at the start of last season, going 2-2 in the 2024 Mary Nutter, one of which was a 0-1 loss to then-No. 19 UCLA.

The 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic will take place Feb. 20-23. Games begin Thursday, with the final games played on Sunday.
