Nebraska Softball has been under the command of head coach Rhonda Revelle for 33 seasons, with multiple World Series appearances and Conference championship wins. With the addition of Jordyn Bahl in 2024, one of the NCAA's best pitchers who has an all-time collegiate record of 44-3, the Cornhuskers are building up to be an unstoppable force.

Nebraska is looking to establish dominance early, with Bahl returning to the field after a season-ending ACL injury in her first game with the Cornhuskers in 2024. One of their first stops will be at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, where they will face a gauntlet of six teams.

The 2025 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic hits the fields on Feb. 20-23 in Cathedral City, Calif., with Nebraska Softball taking to the diamond on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Nebraska Softball's bout in the 2024 Mary Nutter resulted in three losses and two wins, one of which was a 6-0 steamrolling of then-No. 23 Oregon.

As they look to finally gain another berth in the World Series to claim a title, here's what to know about Nebraska Softball at the 2025 Mary Nutter Classic.

Who Is Jordyn Bahl?

Jordyn Bahl started her collegiate pitching career at Oklahoma in the 2022 season, where she recorded a 21-1 record and became the first Oklahoma freshman to pitch a perfect game since 2015. She would lead Oklahoma to a World Series win that year.

In 2023, she would go on to secure a 22-1 record, becoming the first pitcher since 1992 to play at least 20 innings in the World Series without allowing a run. She would again lead Oklahoma to the World Series that season, marking their third win in a row.

At the end of that season, Bahl entered the transfer portal, eventually transferring to her home state of Nebraska. She suffered an ACL injury in her first game at Nebraska, causing her to miss the entire 2024 season.

Now healthy and ready to pitch, Bahl will take the field for the 2025 season, looking to make her mark once again.
