Second period: Hughes starts down and escapes in 14 seconds after Farber is called for stalling. Farber still leads, 3-2. Farber switches off to a double for his second takedown and a 6-3 lead after an escape. Farber switches off to another double for a 9-3 lead. Hughes escapes, cutting the lead to 9-4.

Third period: Farber starts down, hits a sit-out, lifts the leg, and escapes for a 10-4 lead with 1:21 left. Hughes hits a straight single but Farber gets a stalemate. Farber attempts a late shot and scores with three seconds left for a 13-4 major decision.

Third period: Young starts down and escapes in less than 10 seconds. A lengthy head-to-toe scramble ends with a Realbuto takedown and a 6-4 lead. Realbuto rides out the period for a 6-4 win.
