The new AP Division I women's basketball poll is here, and things are nearly the same, especially at the top of the rankings, with the same four teams remaining consistent.
Last week didn't have many shocking results, with UCLA, South Carolina, Notre Dame, and USC all coming away with wins.

Ahead of some of the big conference matchups, here is what to know about this week's rankings, as the results of those matchups could cause a move of the exciting shifts when next week's rankings drop.
Top Team Performances And Matchups
- Yesterday, Jan. 20, Texas women's basketball and Maryland WBB played a top-10 matchup. The Longhorns dominated, winning the game by 38 points on the road. The Terrapins must put the game behind them as they prepare to face off against UCLA on Jan. 26.
- No. 1 UCLA women's basketball was also in action against newly ranked No. 25 Baylor WBB, where they won handily, 72-57, to continue rolling on the season.
- This week, no. 2 South Carolina women's basketball hosts undefeated No. 5 LSU women's basketball in a critical SEC conference matchup.
Other Big Ranked Games This Week
- Newly, No. 24 ranked Michigan and No. 23 Minnesota women's basketball face off against each other in what will likely be a game that needs to be won by both teams to stay in the rankings.
