Arizona baseball will face off against Ole Miss baseball as part of Day 1 of the 2025 College Baseball Showdown.
Although both teams have played in the tournament before, neither team participated last season. This will also be the first time they will play in the Showdown simultaneously.
The last time the Ole Miss Rebels competed in this series, they won all three of their games. Interestingly enough, during that season, Arizona ended Ole Miss' season in the super regionals for a ticket to the College World Series.
Ole Miss would end up winning the National Championship a year later.
