Rutgers is among the many universities known as seasoned competitors in the event. It is one of those dark-house teams that could come away with wins at the highest levels.
Last year, the Scarlet Knights finished 10th after showcasing their talent in Division IA of cheer and jazz. Also, the university mascot, Sir Henry, attained a respectable 9th place in the finals.

- Rutgers will compete in the Division IA Dance Game Day semifinals on Jan. 17 at 10:15 a.m. (State Farm Field House).
- Rutgers will compete in the Division IA Cheer Game Day semifinals on Jan. 17 at 12:40 p.m. (AdventHealth Arena – South).
- Rutgers will compete in the Division IA Jazz prelims on Jan. 17 at 9:29 p.m. (State Farm Field House).
- Rutgers will compete in the Division IA Cheer semifinals on Jan. 18 at 12:02 p.m. (AdventHealth Arena – South).
- Rutgers will compete in the Division IA Pom semifinals on Jan. 18 at 1:14 p.m. (State Farm Field House).
