The University of Memphis cheer and dance teams had a memorable trip to the UCA/UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship last year, each earning a national title, and they’ll both be looking to put those titles on the line in 2025.

The Tigers will are headed to the 2025 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship, which will take place Jan. 17-19 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

This event is the culmination of a year of hard work and is the most prestigious event on the collegiate cheer and dance schedule. 

The Memphis Spirit Squad includes three important parts – pom, cheer and mascot – and even though the teams may perform and compete separately, they’re happy to support one another and share the spotlight as representatives of their university.

At last year’s UCA/UDA College Nationals, everyone in a Memphis uniform had a chance to celebrate, as the cheerleaders won the Division IA Small Coed title, and the dance team took home the DIA Game Day championship.

It wasn’t the first both teams enjoyed the ultimate success together, however. It also happened in 2008 and 2021.

Here’s when the Memphis cheerleading team will compete at UCA College Nationals 2025:

Memphis Cheer Team Schedule At UCA College Nationals 2025

• Memphis will compete in the DIA Small Coed Cheer Game Day semifinals on Jan. 17 at 12:18 p.m. (AdventHealth Arena – South).
• Memphis will compete in the DIA Small Coed Cheer semifinals on Jan. 18 at 10:45 a.m. (AdventHealth Arena – South).

How To Watch UCA College Nationals 2025

The entire event is streaming on Varsity TV and the new FloSports app beginning Jan. 17. 

Event replays, highlights and breaking news will be available on both platforms. 

The rebroadcast will stream on Varsity TV on a delay of 24 hours.
