The University of Memphis cheer team is one of the top coed teams to watch at the UCA College Nationals every year. This year, they're returning for a chance to take home back-to-back national championship titles in Orlando.

The UCA College Nationals and the UDA College Nationals features the best teams in the nation competing for championships and what better place to do it than “the most magical place on Earth.”

The event will take place Jan. 17-19 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

For more than 35 years, the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship has been the culmination of the season for cheerleaders and dancers across the country.

With the 2025 UCA/UDA College Nationals right around the corner, here are a few things you should know about the Memphis cheer team going into the weekend.

1. How To Watch UCA/UDA College Nationals 2025

The entire event is streaming on Varsity TV and on the FloSports app beginning Jan. 17. Event replays, highlights and breaking news will be available on both platforms. 

The rebroadcast will stream on Varsity TV on a delay of 24 hours.

2. When Does Memphis Cheer Compete at UCA College Nationals

Here’s when the Memphis cheer team will compete at UCA College Nationals 2025:

• Memphis will compete in the DIA Small Coed Cheer Game Day semifinals on Jan. 17 at 12:18 p.m. (AdventhHealth Arena – South).
• Memphis will compete in the DIA Small Coed cheer semifinals on Jan. 18 at 10:45 a.m. (AdventHealth Arena – South).

3. Memphis Cheer 2024 Results At The UCA College Nationals

In 2024, the University of Memphis cheer team competed in two divisions: DIA Small Coed and DIA Game Day. They took home the national championship in Small Coed with a 90.8, outscoring Florida State University in second place by nearly three points.

They earned 5th place in Game Day with a 95.0667 with zero deductions, jumping up one spot from their 6th place finish in semifinals. See the list of years that Memphis earned a win at UCA College Nationals below.
