The Iowa women's basketball team and Rhode Island women's basketball is headed to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya to compete in the 2024 Cancun Challenge this Thanksgiving, November 28-30. Each team will play twice, going head-to-head on November 28th and 29th respectively.

Each year, ten NCAA women's basketball teams head down to beautiful Cancun, Mexico for a weekend of tournament basketball to help kick off their early season schedules. This year, teams like BYU, VCU, Iowa, and Wisconsin are heading down south to play in a round-robin tournament. 

The ten teams were split into two divisions, Mayan and Riviera.
